John was saved and baptized in 1962 at the age of seven and graduated Cave City High School in Northeast Arkansas. John received an Associates Degree in Church Music and a BA Degree from the University of Arkansas before answering the call to ministry in 1979. He was ordained that same year and began pastoring Jamestown Missionary Baptist Church and later Calvary MBC, both in Arkansas. During that time he also graduated with a Master of Theology degree from the Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock. The Sanders moved to Texas in 1983 and John began serving as Assistant to the Editor in Chief of the American Baptist Association and also accepted the pastorate of Faith MBC of New Boston, TX. After a wonderful ten year ministry, the Sanders moved to Romania to serve as foreign missionaries sent out by First Landmark Baptist Church of Sheridan, AR. In 2003 John and Sharon moved to Loveland, CO, to begin Loveland Baptist Church, still under the sponsorship of First Landmark. Loveland Baptist has enjoyed a wonderful 6 year history, highlighted in their Organization Service May, 31, 2009. Mark Thiele, Teen Group Leader
Mark has been a member at Loveland Baptist Church since 2005 and has been saved since 1996. He is a Sunday School Teacher for the Teen Boys group and Youth/Teen Group Leader. He met his wife, Beth, at Loveland Baptist. They are expecting their first child in March 2010.

Mark felt God's call to get involved with a local church and Loveland Baptist was in a stage in which it was growing and in need of members to get involved. It is a true testimony of God opening doors to areas of service for which there is a need. Mark was ordained as a deacon of Loveland Baptist on August 30, 2009.
